Sometime in the late 1800s or early 20th century National Governments ceased to be the most efficient supra-human organizations.Many factors led to this development many of which will be outlined in detail

Every structure has within it the seeds of its own destruction. The United States Government, being a very powerful organization, spawned a multitude of corporate organizations. Each of these was smaller than the US Government but each was in itself a massive conglomerate of force that could rival governments of smaller, poorer nations. Eventually these corporations have eaten the US Government out from the inside leaving a husk of what it once was. Eventually the super-structure will collapse finally revealing the newly evolved more efficient power structure. Due to incredible technological evolution and humans rapid adoption of its consequences even small groups of people can affect change world-wide. During the 21st century individuals will have the capability of projecting power over the entire world.
One example of this is the border region between Afghanistan and Pakistan. A new (or old) culture is growing straddling two nation-states. Neither government is capable of assimilating this mass movement because the individuals(conscious and unconsciously) in the governments themselves are corrupted or sympathetic to the inevitable birth of a new culture-nation.

The days of artificial boundaries between illusory nation-states in at hand.

Is it possible that a over-arching grassroots worldwide culture will emerge?
